On July 12th 2006 Hezbollah terrorists crossed the border into Israel and attacked an Israeli patrol killing eight Israeli soldiers and kidnapping two Israeli soldiers. The Hezbollah also began launching rocket attacks against Israeli cities. Note: Hezbollah is an Arabic word, and therefore has many different translated English spellings. The most common ones found in our sources include: Hezbollah and Hizballah. However, additional spellings also include: Hezbullah, Hezballah, Hizbullah, Hizbollah, etc. Please consider this while performing searches on the web.
